Where to Ride 

There are lots of things to do at The Entrance before or after your bike ride.

  1. Foreshore ride head east to the mouth of the channel great views north and west incline easy 2 km ride.
  2. Lake edge Cycle Path ride west going under the bridge to Picnic Point take shared bike path up to 15 km or turn around anytime. Usually nice a shady from Sun and wind with great afternoon sunset views
  3. Cycle up over bridge and along the lake edge path to Pelican wharf and return. Access bridge bike path from under the bridge easy 6 km ride

Other options that could extend your day:

  • On the Lake edge ride, Stop off at Long jetty for quirky shops and a great Coffee. Turn off bike path at Thompson Rd shops 150 mtrs.
  • Cycle the loop from the foreshore to beautiful Toowoon bay (Great café on the beach) and then cut back down via the lake edge bike path. See our Map
  • Cycle to Crackneck. This idyllic lookout has great views north from The Entrance to Norah Head fabulous for Whale watching. All fairly flat until last 500m long gradual climb, but worth it and a breeze on the way back down
